Terms of Use
1. Agreement
Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) applies to the app. These terms supplement it and are concluded between you and Sergei Golubnik (3-y Karacharovskiy proezd, 12, korp. 1, kv. 58, Moscow, 109202, Russia). Where they conflict, the mandatory consumer law of your country prevails.
2. The service
The app provides a voice assistant and a live translator based on SovaAI, our AI service. It needs an internet connection; smart glasses are optional. The service is not available in countries where SovaAI is not available.
3. Tokens and top-ups
The balance is kept in internal tokens. Each device receives starting tokens once. Tokens are bought only as in-app purchases through Apple: each pack adds the number of tokens shown for it in the app. Usage is charged in tokens per minute of the translator or the assistant and per internet search of the assistant at the rates shown in the app; tokens never expire, have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another device or paid out. Rates may change; the app shows the current ones before you start.
4. Refunds
Refunds for top-ups are handled by Apple under its rules. A refunded top-up is deducted from the balance; if the balance becomes negative, new sessions are blocked until it is topped up.
5. Developer builds
Developer builds of the app may use the developer's own key of an AI provider. Then that provider charges the developer directly and our balance is not used.
6. Limits of AI
Answers and translations are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. They are not medical, legal or financial advice. Do not rely on them where an error could cause harm and verify important translations.
7. Your obligations
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). Inform the person you talk to that the conversation is translated through a cloud service and comply with the laws on recording conversations. Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, do not abuse the starting balance and do not interfere with the service.
8. Availability and suspension
We may change or discontinue features, and suspend service for abuse or to protect the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; outages of the AI provider behind SovaAI and of Apple are outside our control.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for top-ups in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of your country.
10. Ending
You end the agreement by deleting the app. "Delete my data" in Settings removes the device record together with any remaining balance — top up only what you intend to use.
11. Law and disputes
The law of the Russian Federation applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence. Disputes are first addressed to sgolubnik@gmail.com; we answer within 30 days. If that fails, the courts of the operator’s seat or, for consumers, of your country of residence where its law so provides.
